I say Grandma, it sounds like next time you had best not forget something for Miss Trinity to knit. As she is doing so well, maybe even present her with her very first pair of knitting needles and a skein of yarn for her to knit that first scarf with. Then the next time you came to visit, she could present it to you. I would be proud as could too, if I had a grandchild that learn as quickly and retained the knowledge so well at such a tender age.
I agree that you need to me making more hats and sweaters for everyone. Especially if they are going to love and appreciate your time and work. None of my family seem to care, so you are one very lucky lady in that area. But as you are an inspiration to me with your lace knitting, I do hope that is not completely put aside…….LOL
I know full well that Canada enjoys wonderful Summer weather, as we do. But it sounds as though you are faring far better than the lower 48 this year. At least in comparison with the NE area, where I am from. I have yet to see 85º. Our Summer seems be stuck in the 70’s this year. I have never in my life seen a Summer to compare with this one. I don’t like it at all. haha
Happy Anniversary. I’m glad that you and John were able to get away for some personal time together.
